Location

The wide, sandy beach of Laganas (9 km long) is one of the largest in Greece with shallow waters, a perfect beach for children. The famous Caretta-caretta sea turtle has used this beach as a place of reproduction for a millennium. The beach and the general area are under the supervision and protection of the Greek National Marine Park. You may watch the turtles swim using one of the small, low-speed boats that you can rent from Laganas beach
